Our Story
By God’s grace, we have grown

The Beginning
A small group, a big conviction
City of God Christian Centre began as a small group of believers meeting together for prayer, united by a simple but bold conviction: that God was calling them to raise a house of worship for the city.

Growing in Faith
A season of expansion
As the church grew, so did our ministries. Sunday services expanded, new ministry groups were formed to serve children, couples and young people, and homegroups sprang up across the city to carry the church’s heartbeat into every neighbourhood.

A Growing Family
One church, many locations
Today, City of God is a family of churches in Newcastle, Sunderland, London, Middlesbrough and Gateshead — each with its own pastor and community, all sharing the same vision and the same heart.
