About Us
Our Tenets of Faith
The foundational truths of Scripture on which our church family stands.
Statement of Faith
What we believe
These twelve convictions guide our teaching, our worship and the way we live.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a free gift received through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, not by works.
Ephesians 2:8–9
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ's death and resurrection.
Romans 6:3–4
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live godly lives and serve effectively.
Acts 1:8
Divine Healing
We believe healing is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of every believer today.
Isaiah 53:5
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the Great Commission.
Ephesians 1:22–23
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to receive His Church.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
The Great Commission
We believe Jesus commands every believer to go and preach the gospel, to win the lost and to make disciples of all nations, baptising them and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded. Evangelism and discipleship are the work of the whole church, and Christ has promised to be with us as we go.
Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15
Marriage
We believe marriage was ordained by God as the union of a man and a woman, in which the two leave their parents and become one flesh. We honour marriage as God's gift and design, and we are committed to supporting couples and families through the teaching of His Word, prayer and pastoral care.
Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6
Tithing, Giving and Offerings
We believe in honouring God with our finances. The tithe, a tenth of our income, belongs to the Lord and is brought to the house of God, and we give offerings freely and cheerfully beyond it. God promises to open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessing on those who are faithful in their giving.
Malachi 3:8–12; 2 Corinthians 9:7
Christian Service
We believe every believer is called to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. God has given each of us gifts and abilities, and He calls us to use them, according to the capacity He gives, to build up the church and bless others. We encourage every member to find a place to serve.
1 Peter 4:10; Romans 12:4–8
